Frame is used for capturing custom shapes to produce Contour U and Silhouette cushions.
The Invacare Shape Sensor Frame is designed to be interchangeable between Silhouette and Contour U for the capture of shapes and contours for the manufacture of custom molded products, by means of digitizing and molding. (i.e. Contour U and Silhouette cushions.)
For transport, the assemble Shape Sensor can be loaded into a minivan with the help of a wheelchair ramp.
The Invacare Shape Sensor Frame was desigend to be interchangeable with the seat and back digitizer for creating a Silhouette system and the seat and back with molding attachments for creating a ContourU system.
The base frame has sturdy 8in wheels and 5in casters with wheel locks.
