MOBILITY SCOOTER RENTALS

Q: CAN MY SCOOTER GO ON CRUISES, PLANES, TRAINS AND BUSES:

Yes, they can go on cruises, planes, trains and buses.

Q: HOW DO I PAY FOR EQUIPMENT RENTAL:

You can charge your rental on your Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover card.

Q: WHAT TYPE OF SCOOTERS ARE AVAILABLE:

We have scooters that are travel scooters, with a weight capacity up to 300 lbs. they are easily broken down and go in a car trunk, SUV, or van. We have mid-sized scooters with a weight capacity up to 350 lbs. and fit in a SUV, pick-ups, vans etc. and we also have large sized scooters with a weight capacity up to 600 lbs. All of our scooters break down, some more then others. If you have any further questions please call us.

Q: HOW FAR WILL THE SCOOTER GO WHEN FULLY CHARGED:

A fully charged battery will range 14-20 miles on a level surface depending on weight, terrain and other deciding factors.

Q: DO I PLUG THE CHARGER IN A WALL SOCKET:

Yes, just plug it into a regular 110 wall socket. The charger can be converted for international travel.

Q: HOW OFTEN DO I CHARGE THE BATTERIES:
If it has been used, charge it every night, over night, but no longer then a 12 hours at a time. You must charge if it has not been charged every 3 weeks.
Q: IS A SCOOTER EASY TO OPERATE:
Yes, very easy, requiring the use of only the thumb to activate the controller. The built-in brake system is activated when you release the controller.
Q: CAN THE SCOOTER BREAK DOWN TO MAKE IT LIGHTER TO LIFT:
Most can be disassembled in less than 20 seconds and break down into 5 pieces. Most scooters the heaviest part at 32-39 lbs.
Q: CAN I LEAVE MY SCOOTER FOR SHORT PERIODS AT SHOPS:
Yes. Just take you ignition key with you when you get off the scooter. Do not leave it for long periods of time. You are responsible for the scooter during the rental period.
Q: HOW DO I CANCEL MY RESERVATION IF I NEED TO:
If you need to cancel call at least 72 hours before your rental period begins. If you call less than 72 hours to cancel you will be charged a 25% fee.

Q: DO YOU DO OTHER THAN RENTALS:
Yes we sell mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs, lift chairs, ramps, vehicle lifts and many accessories for all your mobility needs.
Q: DO YOU HAVE FINANCING FOR SALE ITEMS:
Yes we do offer in house financing to our customers. Please ask our staff about it.

ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR RENTALS

Q: WILL THE ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR BREAK DOWN FOR TRAVELING:

Yes, some electric wheelchairs do break down for transport but, you must be able to lift 60-70 pounds as the main weight is in the bottom.

Q: HOW FAR WILL THE ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR GO FULLY CHARGED:

On a full charge, most power chairs will range between 15 and 20 miles on a level surface.

Q: HOW OFTEN DO I CHARGE THE BATTERIES:

If it has been used charge it every night, over night.

Q: DO I PLUG THE CHARGER IN A WALL SOCKET:

Q: CAN I OVERCHARGE THE BATTERIES:

No, the chargers are designed to shut down to 1 amp when fully charged.
